    Adjustment: (Video above)

Flex-E-Core technology allows almost unlimited adjustment.  If we don't get it just exactly right for you (there's nothing like having the foot there to adjust it to), you can custom fit the boot to your foot size.  With the boot on your foot, examine where your toes are in relation to the end of the boot.  If there is too much material sticking past the end of your toes, you need to shorten the boot.
    1. Loosen the side (dorsiflexion straps) and place the heel of the boot on a firm surface (table top); push down at the same time on both the toe and calf ends of the boot and "open" the boot so that it is about 3/4's flat.
    2. Now, depending upon your prior observation of the length of the boot relative to your toe position, "move" the heel bend to lengthen or shorten the foot section of the boot to get your toes close to the end of the boot.  With your toes close to the end of the boot the fit of the boot over your lower foot will be optimized.
    3. To move the heel bend, turn the boot over and begin re-bending the boot at about the correct total length of the foot portion of the boot and continue for about 2 inches up toward the calf, making small bends until approximately a 90 degree bend is re-established.  Check for fit and adjust as necessary.  Re-connect the dorsiflexion straps.
    4. The bend just below the calf can be accentuated if you wish to "float" the heel or it can be flatter for comfort.

Feels Great January 5, 2010
Reviewer: Tommy B. from Sagianw, MI
I've purchased other night splints and I like this one. The adjustment range is amazing and it's really soft and comfortable.  the material is really soft and flexibled.  it doesn't have any hard plastic on it.  I bent the whole thing to fit my foot perfectly.  The service at Leedergroup is really great, too. I talked to them on the phone and they were very helpful.  thanks and regards,

Podiatrist says: January 5, 2010
Reviewer: Marc A. Katz, DPM from Tampa, FL
I wanted to let you know that I have had great success in my Podiatry practice using several of the LEEDer group products. Not only are the products economical, they are also very effective. I’ve had great results using the multi-use boot as a night splint for plantar fasciitis. I have the patient progressively increase the tension on the dorsiflexion straps every few days. These patients often get complete relief over a period of a few weeks. The nice thing about the multi-use boot is its ability to easily bend and mold to the exact contour of the patients foot. When I use the boot to float a patient’s heel with an ulcer or to support a patient with arthritis, tendonitis or a sprain, I can bend the device for those people with severe inversion/eversion deformities or with a plantar flexion deformity. This allows for a comfortable and effective fit every time and increases patient compliance. Lastly, I use the regular LEEDer boot in bed bound patients to improve plantar flexion contractures and to float the heels to prevent or heal ulcers. The device also protects the patient’s lower legs and toes from injury. The device is also useful in those patients that are working with physical therapists and need stability while improving their walking and leg strength. The boots can be used for so many other conditions as well. Practitioners will find their favorite conditions to treat. Just wanted to share my experiences and successes and hope you will share it with others. Sincerely, Marc A. Katz, DPM Tampa, FL

night splint January 5, 2010
Reviewer: Mr. J. Thomas from Augusta, Maine United States
My wife developed a condition known as plantar fasciitis. The bottom of her foot was so sore. Nothing seemed to help until we tried your night splint. It took some time, but what a miracle! She wore the splint and the condition slowly disappeared!
